Holiday family apartments - Apartments Kočevar are located in a quiet neighborhood on a hill above
the hotel complex Bernardin, just halfway between Piran and Portorož, in the municipality of Piran.
In the vicinity of the family apartments there are a number of natural and cultural attractions of this
area. They are accessible by foot or by bike, so you hardly need a car.

Fifteen minutes walk and you are already in the old medieval town of Piran with the cathedral church
of St. Georg, the city walls and churches, the port, Tartini Square, the baroque fountain on the 1st of
May Square, the Franciscan Monastery, the Venetian House, the lighthouse on Punta and many
picturesque palaces, squares, streets and parks.

The city offers a tour of various art galleries and studios. Among them are the City Gallery, Pečarič
Gallery, Aquarium, Sergej Mašera Maritime Museum, shell and snail museum, diving museum, etc.
From May to October, various cultural and musical events take place in or near the city.
